Summer at Dart Gallery

As usual this summer, you’ll find both floors of Dart Gallery filled with wonderful new artworks. Jan Nelson’s vibrant paintings of yachts at sea will hang alongside Debbie Lush’s dream-like Devon landscapes. After a long break, Martin Procter has returned to his most loved and collected style; new paintings of the South Hams will be in the gallery during July. There will be a fresh series of Jack Frame’s blazing paintings of blossoms on gold leaf and Marie Mill’s abundant canvases of Devon hedgerows. Steven Macloughlin’s gentle landscapes, often featuring the River Dart, will complement Kit John’s inventive seascapes of crashing waves over vintage maps of the South Devon coastline. A new collection of Harry Brioche’s breathtaking landscapes will also be hanging alongside Henry Walsh’s colourful, pared-back beach scenes. We’ll add images of all of the latest work here as it arrives.

In August the gallery will show its first collection of brand-new work from Hashim Akib. Hashim has spent time in Dartmouth capturing iconic views in his unique and widely collected style.
