Theo Crutchley-MackTheo Crutchley-Mack is a young British artist who first gained public recognition when, aged 16, his design was chosen for a 50 pence coin commemorating the 2012 London Olympics. He later studied at Falmouth School of Art, graduating with a sell-out degree show which launched a successful career as a contemporary artist.

We were drawn to Theo’s carefully crafted artworks of boats. In a unique fusion of painting and sculpture, Theo uses reclaimed wood and found materials (including rope, fishing nets and nails) along with thick layers of paint to create almost three dimension paintings of his subjects. Each piece is presented in an elegant box frame with anti-reflective glass to maximise enjoyment of Theo’s compositions.
