Rosa Sepple was born in London of Italian/British parents and lived in Northern Italy for several years. Most of her inspiration is drawn from ordinary people and everyday experiences and events – it is a little saucy, but is set in the tradition of artists such as Lowry and Lautrec with its emphasis on social commentary. She experiments continuously using a combination of mediums including watercolour, acrylic, gouache and ink as well as collage to produce beautifully textured surfaces and rich variations of colour and tone.
