Rob Walker

Born in Bedfordshire in 1963, Rob Walker has had a life-long interest in painting. He is entirely self-taught and through years of dedicated practice, he acquired the necessary skills by applying his innate talent to copying the paintings of old masters including, Rembrandt, Canaletto and Turner.

His timeless still-life paintings aim to celebrate the beauty of everyday objects, their colours their relationship to each other and how they interact with the space they are in. A rich palette, intense light and careful compositions typify his elegant work. Rob’s paintings elevate a familiar subject to create works that lend a sophisticated edge to any wall.

Rob has shown his work professionally for over twenty years, exhibiting worldwide. His paintings feature in collections in the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and across Europe.
