Martin Procter

Martin Procter’s unique style has become synonymous with both Dartmouth and South Devon. He has a background in architecture and building and his love of structure and form is evident in paintings of Devon coastal villages and moorland hamlets. More concerned with atmosphere and sense of place than conventional representation, he translates sketches made on location to construct his striking compositions. His highly desirable work has been featured in the gallery for many years.
