One of Devon’s most exciting young contemporary artists, Harry studied philosophy and contemporary art at Reading University and was presented with the “Henry and Mary Willink award” in 2011. He was raised on a smallholding in the rolling countryside between Newton Abbot and Ashburton and the beautiful rural background of his childhood informs his art with a deep respect for nature. His current work takes found and collected pewter objects and transforms them from their previous everyday functions into deeply desirable objects of beauty and pure aesthetics. Each of Harry’s sculptures comes with a small book detailing memories of the objects he has used to create the new piece.
