A love of art that started in childhood led Emma S Davis to study contemporary art and painting at the prestigious Glasgow School of Art. She graduated in 1998 with a sell-out degree show, a sure sign of the professional success that was to follow. She has worked as a full-time artist ever since and has collected an enviable selection of accolades.
Emma produces delightful mixed media paintings in her own unique and distinctive style. She combines light, colour, and texture to produce evocative work in response to places that are special to her. Fans of the gallery will know that Emma exhibited with us over previous years; we are thrilled to have this new collection. You will find paintings inspired by her home in Scotland and our own beautiful location on the River Dart.
