Belinda Millar’s contemporary landscapes capture the sensory experience of being in the outdoors. Painting on location across the UK’s coasts and countryside, she reacts in real-time to the fleeting light and raw energy of her surroundings.

Combining bold colour choices with expressive, instinctual brushwork, her paintings bridge the gap between what we see and what we remember. Look closely and you’ll spot her trademark: a vibrant fluorescent pink ground that peeks through the finished surface, giving each painting an undeniable sense of warmth and joy. Rather than creating exact replicas of real-world coordinates, Belinda maps the emotional weight of a place, resulting in immediate, lively artworks rooted in mood, memory, and personal connection.
