Heidi Archer Solo Show

This Spring Bank Holiday weekend we’re launching a solo show of new work by Heidi Archer. Inspired by the shapes and forms of our beautiful location in South Devon, Heidi paints intuitively on canvas board or wood panel. She creates carefully composed, graphically compelling work which plays with perspective and colour. Stylised, moonlit rural scenes feature alongside familiar coastal motifs. Predominantly painting in oil, Heidi also uses acrylics and charcoal together with scoring and sanding to create paintings with careful texture and a gentle depth of colour. With a limited palette, her approach produces unique and instantly recognisable work.
The show will launch as part of Dartmouth Galleries week with a First View from 6pm on Friday 23rd May. Heidi will be at the gallery then to talk to you about her wonderful paintings.
