In Theo's own words: "‘Ultramarine’ captures an old, retired fishing vessel, bathed in the soft hazy afternoon light. Constructed from reclaimed materials, the piece combines delicate layers of thin wood fixed down with small nails, and thickly applied oil paint, bringing the vessel to life with a rich, tactile depth that celebrates its hard working life."
