'Skelly Hulk' is presented in an elegant box frame under anti-reflective glass.

In Theo's own words: "'Skelly Hulk' captures a deteriorating rowing boat resting on the tidal banks of the Helford River. I was drawn to the exposed timbers that were still clinging onto the vibrant layers of paint remarkably well. I wanted to capture them before the hull finally collapses into the shoreline. The base is built from thin timber strips, and fragmenting structural pieces. Layers of oil paint in vibrant blues, teals, and earthy ochres are then worked over the construction, contrasting the vibrant hull against the muted hues of the Helford mudflats."
