This painting depicts a lone, weathered vessel resting along the shoreline, focus placed on its sweeping wooden planks and the gritty textures left behind on the sand by the receding tide. The base is built from offcuts of reclaimed wood and delicate net rigging, forming a densely constructed surface. Caked layers of oil paint are then applied, unifying the structured hull with delicate applications of colour."
