JOSS KINGSNORTH
Joss Kingsnorth was trained at Bournmouth and has a degree in Fine Art and Painting. She followed this with a career in art education in the UK and then in Switzerland. All her paintings are inspired by the sea and its moods, colours and strange currents, evident in her latest paintings. Her paintings are quite large and executed on linen-covered board. They are built up in layers, glazes and the controlled movement of paint -splashes and runnels that reflect the qualities of the sea surface from the calm of a summer's day to a wild winter storm echoing its fluidity, colour and changing moods.
