Summer exhibition - Stewart Edmondson - 'Moor to Sea'
In this, the third of our one man exhibitions with Stewart, we are very excited to present this new body of work. We have seen Stewarts skill and use of his medium develop to the point where he is definitely achieving his aim of 'trying to touch the raw energy of a place'. We are also very pleased to have secured an introduction to the exhibition by the renowned West Country artist Michael Morgan, who has played a part in mentoring Stewart through this critical stage of his career. NEWS - John Brenton joins the D'art Gallery
John Brenton is the latest addition to the D'art Gallery's stable of established artists. John lives in Cornwall and is well known in the West Country. As an artist who prefers to paint from life using oils, the subject matter is the motivation of painting for most artists and the principal aim in each work is to express a personal response to a landscape.
